11yrs old Minor Boy sexually assaulted by friend, arrested.

 

Bhayandar: A disturbing incident of sexual assault on an 11-year-old boy has come to light in Bhayander city, where the 26yrs old accused who is said to be the friend of the victim, allegedly attempted to penetrate his penis into the minor's private area at his friends room.

Following the complaint of the victim's parent, on August 14, 2024, FIR was registered at Navghar Police Station as per the relevant sections of the POCSO Act. 

Given the severity of the crime, senior officials instructed a prompt and thorough investigation into the matter. The crime scene was visited, and technical analysis of the accused's mobile number was conducted, leading to his detention within two days of the registration of offence from Indralok area of, Bhayander East.

After questioning and thorough investigation, the accused was found to be involved in the crime and was subsequently arrested. The police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
