Narendra Mehta's Lotus Navratri Mandal looted Garba lovers !

It is said that former BJP MLA Narendra Mehta and Corruption are two sides of the same coin.  It has been witnessed many times that Mehta's philanthropic activities involved his financial interest at one point or another. Lotus Navratri Garba was organized in Bhayandar by Mehta's East West Foundation.

This year also Mehta had invited Bollywood & TV Serial Artists / Singers for Entertainment.  Accordingly this year Garba lovers came here in large numbers to play Garba.  Not only Mira Bhayander but also many Garba lovers from Mumbai had arrived.  It is claimed that this year around 8 to 15 thousand Garba lovers used to come here to play Garba every day.

But unfortunately, Garba lovers who come here to play Garba have been forcibly charged parking fee of Rs 30 for two wheelers and Rs 50 for four wheelers.  Receipts in the name of Lotus Navratri were also printed by the Mandal to recover these illegal parking charges.

However, no one has the authority to collect parking fees from vehicles parked on municipal roads. Devotees used to park their vehicles on roadsides to reach the Lotus Navratri garba site, yet there is public outcry against Mehta for forcibly charging them parking fees.  BJP worker Suresh Yeole demanded that the vehicle parking scam carried out by this mandal should be investigated and a case should be registered against the concerned.
