MBMC chief Dilip Dhole inspects road repair and pothole filling work

Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation Chief Dilip Dhole today inspected the ongoing road repair work in the twin city.  During the said inspection tour, Deputy Engineer of Public Works Department Yatin Jadhav, & Uttam Randive along with the contractor were present. The road repair work going on near 15 number Bus Stop, Hatkesh Chowk to Western Hotel Road and Saganai Mata Temple road were inspected today.

Mbmc Chief & Administrator Dilip Dhole had mentioned In the previous meeting held with the concerned officials that due to regular rains for the past few days, potholes have arisen in Mira Bhayander city.   The officials of Public Works Department was instructed to repair the roads on war footing. Accordingly, while the process to repair the potholes was started through the Public Works Department, the Commissioner inspected the road repair at various places.

Instructions were given to the contractor to maintain the quality of asphalt as excellent while filling the pits. Verbal orders were given to fill the potholes on the road immediately using cold mix and jet patcher machines. The contractor was also ordered by civic chief to take measures to drain the water accumulated on the road so that water does not accumulate on the asphalt and cause potholes and also to remove stones and soil from the road and keep the roads in a good condition for commuters.
