Mira Road Gunpoint Jewellery Looters arrested with the help of Luknow STF.
Special Task Force ( STF ) , Uttar Pradesh had been receiving information about organizing and planning criminal incidents by organized gangs in eastern Uttar Pradesh from past many days. In this regard, various units / teams of STF were directed to compile the information and take action, according to which STF under the supervision of Deepak Kumar Singh , Deputy Superintendent of Police, STF Headquarters Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh compilation of the information was being done by the headquarters team.
In connection with the robbery incident at S Kumar Gold and Diamond Shop, Mira Road, DCP of Mira-Bhayendar Vasai-Virar Commissionerate, through letter, had sought co-operation from STF UP for arrest of the accused involved in the incident.
It is known from the compilation that a criminal based in Ghazipur district who has done many gruesome incidents in the past is running a gang in association with some criminals from the surrounding districts who are involved in robbery and murder in different metropolises of the state and country . These criminals has caused major incidents and were planning to carry out many big incidents.
It was informed by informer that on 27.01.2021, these people are coming for the purpose of Reki and robbery of a reputed jewelry shop in Lucknow. Believing the information given by Informer, Inspector Shri Hemant Bhushan Singh, Vinay Kumar Singh, and other officials formed a team with Shri Pramod Badakh and Pushpendra Thapa of Crime Branch Mira-Bhayendar, Vasai-Virar Commissionerate .
On 27/01/2021 , morning 7am , 3 accused namely 1. Vinay Kumar Singh alias Sintu Singh , Ghazipur , Uttar Pradesh. (Kingpin) 2. Dinesh Nishad , Jaunpur , Uttar Pradesh. 3. Shailendra Kumar Mishra alias Bablu Mishra , Varanasi , Uttar Pradesh , were arrested after using the necessary force by reaching the place mentioned by the informant in front of Vasudeva Traders , Deva Road , Lucknow.
When asked about the way of committing the crime, the accused told that first we went to the jewelery shop and became aware of the situation there, then tried to befriend the guards and the employees so that they could get full information about the opening and closing of security, after that they used to recite the entire exit route, where the PCR of the police stands and their map was prepared on the paper taking information about barricading etc. We do this so that other members of the gang can be made aware of it and after the incident, they can be easily removed from any route. After the incident, we run away from different paths.
On asking about the recovered jewelery and cash etc., Sintu Singh told that in my gang, Shailendra, Dinesh, Sanjeet and Sonu Singh , we all had a consensus and planned to rob many jewelry shops, out of which dated 07.01.2021, we all carried out the robbery incident at S Kumar Gold and Diamond Shop, Mira Road, Mumbai and took all the goods and reached our home through different routes and later gathered and distributed all the goods by selling some items. We gathered today in Lucknow to hide some share of goods and plan the next robbery .
When asked about the recovered revolver, it was said that it was a looted police revolver given to me by Raju Rai of Ghazipur. Advance legal proceedings of arrested accused is being done by Inspector Pramod Badakh ( Crime Branch , Mira-Bhayander, Vasai-Virar Commissionerate ).

7. Rings & pieces of Rings (Total 46)
8. Four Necklace
9. Ten Lockett
10. Two pairs of Women Bangles ( Kangan )
11. Precious Stone - 21 grams including packing paper.
12. Jewelery pieces - 14 grams including packing paper.
13. Small and big diamond pieces - 04 grams including packing paper.
14. Cash - (Rs. 527400 ).
